First FIFA 11 video shows very little

fifa 11 2

EA’s released the first video of FIFA 11 and its cover boy, Real Madrid midfielder Kaka.

Not much is shown in it, though: you just see him walking out of a tunnel, then changing between his Brazil and Real Madrid kits.

Expect the proper blowout to come in Cologne in a week-and-a-half.

FIFA 11 releases on September 28 in the US and October 1 in the UK.

FIFA won’t support Move or Kinect – for now

fifa 11

FIFA boss David Rutter has admitted that he remains unconvinced with the latest motion technology.

Speaking with Eurogamer, Rutter said that Kinect or Move support will not be incorporated into the game anytime soon, as the team sees no reason to do so.

“I’m not sure [about Move/Kinect]; I don’t really fancy standing up and kicking a ball at a telly,” he said. “There are some cool things – a goalkeeper could work very well – but obviously we’re not talking about anything like that.”

The developer also mentioned 3D, saying that while it won’t be in FIFA 11, it’s probably something that will appear in future versions of the game.

“We have seen it working; it looks great,” he offered. “But within FIFA there’s too much going on, too much movement, too many camera angle changes for us to be easily supporting it at the moment. But yeah, we are looking at it.”

You can catch the full interview with David Rutter on Eurogamer.

FIFA 11 is expected to be released in October this year for all formats.

FIFA 11 video explains personality +

fifa 11

EA has released the first video for FIFA 11 in the shape of a new developer diary.

The video shows off the new Personality+ feature, which EA are billing as the big new addition to the game this year.

The examples shown look awesome, showing the difference between low skill and high skill players when shooting, passing, tackling and dribbling . If EA can pull off this new feature then it has the potential to take the game to the next level.

FIFA 11 is expected to release around October this year.

Fifa11 announced, first shots, news!!!

FIFA 11 is to “redefine” authenticity in football games, EA just said, announcing a Personality+ feature “that sees individual abilities reflected in game, enabling clear differentiation for every player.”

Personality+ “distinguishes individual footballers from one another by utilizing a database that evaluates and grades each player’s skill-set over 36 attributes and 57 traits,” according to the press release below.

Additional new features include Pro Passing, “where pass accuracy is determined by a gamer’s ability on the control pad, and player skill, situation and urgency on the pitch, yielding a deeply rewarding passing system.”

It’s out this fall for PS3, 360, Wii, PC, PS2, DS, PSP and mobile.

EA’S FIFA 11 SET TO REDEFINE PLAYER AUTHENTICITY

All-New Personality+ Enables Players to Behave and Perform as True Individuals

GUILDFORD, UK. – 9th June, 2010 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) today revealed that its top-selling* franchise from EA SPORTS™ will redefine player authenticity when FIFA 11 launches this Fall on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system. FIFA 11 reinvents player authenticity – on and off the ball – for every player and at every position on the pitch with Personality+, an all-new feature that sees individual abilities reflected in game, enabling clear differentiation for every player.

“Personality+ is the evolution of individual distinctiveness that sees a footballer’s abilities on the pitch mirrored authentically in our game, creating individual personalities in FIFA 11,” said Executive Producer Kaz Makita. “We have reached a level of sophistication within our game engine where footballers in our game will behave and perform as true individuals.”

Personality+ distinguishes individual footballers from one another by utilizing a database that evaluates and grades each player’s skill-set over 36 attributes and 57 traits. The EA SPORTS FIFA franchise utilizes a network of 1700 scouts, editors and reviewers positioned around the world to evaluate each player, creating one of the world’s most comprehensive databases to drive its market-leading football engine. Personality+ plus will be integrated everywhere in-game. Elite players are now empowered to showcase their world class skills. Real Madrid’s Kaka will deliver crisp, creative passes, Barcelona’s Andres Iniesta will utilize tighter turns and close control to dribble through defenses, Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney will hold off defenders and strike shots from distance with pace, and top-flight defenders like Giorgio Chiellini of Juventus will anticipate, predict and react to offensive players to win back possession. New body types and player models will further distinguish each player on the pitch. In addition, goalkeepers have also been injected with Personality+. The real-life personality of the keeper, whether acrobatic or traditional, will dictate his style in game. Dive attributes will determine the keepers with the ability to reach for further shots while reflex attributes determine reaction times, so a keeper like Petr Cech of Chelsea FC will be able to showcase world-class skills.

FIFA 11 introduces new Pro Passing where pass accuracy is determined by a gamer’s ability on the control pad, and player skill, situation and urgency on the pitch, yielding a deeply rewarding passing system. Poor decisions or over/under striking the ball will mean error-prone outcomes. New types of passes such as swerve passes will enable players to make a safer and more effective play.

FIFA 11 will be available in stores world-wide this Fall for the PlayStation®3, Xbox 360®, Wii™, PC, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, Nintendo DS™, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system and mobile. It is developed under the EA SPORTS brand by EA Canada in Burnaby, B.C. The game has not yet been rated.

Also,

FIFA 11 producer David Rutter has told Eurogamer that this year’s edition in the series won’t have an online manager mode.

Rutter said that EA Sports had no intention of adding it in this year, but might do so for future titles “in the long-term”.

When asked if it was being added for this year, he said: “If I’m brutally honest, no.” But he added: “Long-term ambition, it would be brilliant.”

Rutter was keen to stress, however, that the mode – which he claims is the most popular mode in FIFA – won’t move into an online space until it’s at its best.

“I’ve seen a number of ways of doing it start and fail,” he said.

“Until I’m utterly convinced there’s a way of providing the massive user-base of Manager Mode players with a compelling mechanic that will work, I would be very reluctant to go to market with something I’m not 100 per cent convinced with, because I think this is something you can only do once.”

Leaked PES 2011 footage shoots out

pes2011

Some leaked PES 2011 gameplay footage has emerged this morning, showing just how far the game has come in terms of visuals.

The video’s not the best, but you can see what’s going on.

Some new screens and another video were revealed earlier this month, all of which add up to quite a promising-looking game.

No doubt more details will appear from Konami at E3 next week.

*cough* fifa’s better *cough*

Ok so now really, Konami don’t rush things just to release this game first than Fifa11 just because you want to sell more, you will sell more if you do a great game (yes at this time it needs to be great to be FIFA <.<) then you make a shitty game, like you have been doing lately, just do it right.

Today is the day…

FOR BENFICA!!!

Maybe, maybe today Benfica will become National Champions! HURRAY! HIP HIP HURRAY!! And to flavor it more the match will be in Porto, against FCP (basically Porto XD), the eternal rival :p yeah because for me Sporting’s no rival, just a normal soccer club, with a big fan base, but I don’t consider it a rival, my opinion, but Porto is and if we win there in their stadium it’s gonna be madness!! Because the last championships have been won by Porto (and corruption, don’t forget corruption), and now they are all angry and stuff that their true nature has come out, vandalism, they have thrown stones at Benfica bus, at Benfica stores, and even paint, blue paint (Porto’s colors), I’m not gonna say that they are the only ones, because Benfica’s fans once started a fire…in a bus…but from what I saw at the the Carlsberg Cup, the incidents between fans were really bad, there were lots of injuries and it was in Algarve (close to where I live :D ) not in one of the clubs home city, but now in Porto, the club with loads of dangerous fans, in their hometown, angry like hell due to Benfica possibly turning champion in their home, violence is gonna be for sure, and I’m afraid that if it gets really bad, there may be deaths :/

So i want to say to all fans to not be violent and stuff like that, just enjoy the show that soccer is and good luck to Benfica :D

The match starts at 8.15 pm gonna be watching eheheheh.

“Giant “Rainbow” Killing”!!!

So I started seeing this two animes, “Giant Killing” and “Rainbow”, where the title of them has nothing to do with the theme, it has a meaning but people get the wrong idea when they hear the names, Giant Killing is about soccer xD didn’t expect that did you? :p and Rainbow is..i can’t explain it very well but you’ll see.

Giant Killing

In Giants Killing a ragtag bunch from East Tokyo are struggling in Japan’s top football league. The team is going through an abysmal spell right now where they are nearing the bottom of the table and have lost 5 matches in a row. The loses haven’t done much to team moral, because it was already low. Fan support, on the other hand, is looking bleak. In the world of football, once the fans turn on a team the end is near. Teams don’t recover. Coaches are fired, players are sold, and teams drop to smaller divisions where profits often prevent them from ever being successful against even mediocre top division programs. East Tokyo United, ETU, can only blame their coach right now. And now, the next coach of the team is Tatsumi, a former player of ETU who abodened the team for an overseas club, which made the fans hate him due to him being the starplayer of the team, now after even coaching an English team he’s back to prove to his team and fans, that even against the biggest club in the nation he can make this team win.

Rainbow

Around 10 years after World War II, a group of delinquents are sent to the Shounan Special Reform School to learn how to cope with the atrocities and unfairness they encounter there. A student who has already been residing there when the teens arrived acts as a mentor, teaching them about friendship and guiding them through difficulties they face and teached them hwo to surprass them.

P.S. Couldn’t find trailers so had to put the openings, to really know the animes I recommend seeing them, they are great ;)
